Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of orchestrating the arrests of her siblings in an apparent attempt to force her into a rehabilitation programme. In a series of emotional Instagram Stories, the actress claimed that her elder brother and sister have already been detained, while her younger sister could be next unless she returns to her husband and complies with his demands. “Someone please help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind,” Regina wrote. “My big brother and big sister have been arrested. My baby sister might be arrested soon as well until I return and, according to him, return to rehab.” In the posts, she also accused Ned Nwoko of damaging her reputation with labels including “drug addict” and “prostitute,” adding: “You said I’m a drug addict… What other name can you call me? A prostitute? But I will speak on that one day and tell the world of your involvement with everything.” Regina went on to question the integrity of the law enforcement process, saying: “Imagine the Nigerian police beating up my brother like a criminal. What exactly was the violent arrest for? Ned, you have power, connections and money, right? Wild for you to think I have none.” The backdrop to this drama includes earlier statements by Ned Nwoko alleging that Regina has a substance‑abuse problem, linking the couple’s marital tension to alleged drug and alcohol use. In a post titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage And Rampage In My House And In My Absence,” the Senator claimed the actress was violent, assaulted staff and damaged property. Adding to the concern is a separate report that Regina’s brother, Sammy West (Samuel Daniels), was summoned by the police in Abuja via WhatsApp for alleged offences like assault, theft and cyberbullying—raising more questions about the nature and extent of the pressure her family is under. As of now, neither Regina Daniels nor Ned Nwoko have issued a joint official statement clarifying the situation or addressing the arrests. The Lagos State Police Command has stated that the arrests were made by operatives from Abuja with a duly signed warrant—not by Lagos command.
