At the Student Celebrity Awards, where excellence meets influence, Praise Eseoseseimen stood out as a shining example of student leadership and resilience. A 300-level Anatomy student of Bowen University, Praise was crowned Class Representative of the Year, an honor that celebrates not just her title but her impact. Driven by a deep passion for leadership and service, Praise has always sought to make a difference. “I’ve always had a passion for leadership and helping others grow,” she shares. “Becoming a class representative gave me the opportunity to bridge communication, ensure everyone feels heard, and create a positive learning environment.” Winning at the Student Celebrity Awards was a humbling and inspiring moment for her. “It felt amazing to know that my efforts were noticed and appreciated. This recognition has given me a deep sense of gratitude and motivation to keep striving for excellence,” she says. Beyond her award, Praise’s biggest achievement has been finding balance—managing academics, leadership duties, videography, and personal growth all at once. She admits it wasn’t easy: “Meeting everyone’s expectations while keeping up with academics was challenging, but teamwork, communication, and time management made everything possible.” Now, she sets her sights on a new goal — launching a student wellness and academic support initiative within her department to inspire her peers to lead with empathy and integrity.
